PT Transjakarta Gives Coaching to Operator Partners

PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta) conducts capacity building, intensive guidance and direction to all operator partners in order to improve service quality.

This is done to educate Mikrotrans drivers how to provide safe and comfortable services to the destination

It is a tangible form of the company's efforts in providing transportation services that are safe and comfortable to use by the public, as mandated by the Jakarta administration.

PT Transjakarta's Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division Head, Angelina Betris said, it is a routine activity that has been programmed by the company together with all partners every six month.

"We just conducted a training with the operator partners last week and it was attended by all the drivers. It was implemented at the depot of each partner and went smoothly. In the future, we will do it every three months," she expressed, Wednesday (11/10).

She explained, all medium and large bus operators always regularly attend the coaching, especially the drivers.

Each participant was given guidelines and directions related to standard operating procedures for drivers, minimum service standards and safety driving to accident reports that need to be conducted by drivers thus it can be followed up swiftly and appropriately.

"Hopefully, they can minimize and respond quickly if they face unwanted things while on duty," she explained.

According to her, for small bus operators, similar training has just begun with a briefing agenda regarding applicable minimum service standards (MSS).

"This is done to educate Mikrotrans drivers how to provide safe and comfortable services to the destination," she explained.

She added, it is also in line with one of the work focuses of PT Transjakarta in an effort to improve service quality. By so, it is expected to further increase capacity and raise awareness of all operator partners and drivers in providing public services in all aspects of service, safety, security and comfort.

"This is a form of Transjakarta's consistency to provide a comfortable and safe transportation services. Surely, we'll continue to improve the quality of service from various sides to ensure everything goes as expected," she concluded.
